FRIST AUGUST 2018 ARTLAB: YOUTH & MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

Fall 2018
Display Periods:
Oct. 2-Oct. 31 @ Bordeaux Library Art Gallery
Nov. 2-Dec. 1 @ Vanderbilt Athletics

The Frist Museum's August ArtLAB brings together the artwork of Nashville youth from the Bordeaux Library and the Sevier Park Community Center. The exhibit will express each individual's interpretations of mental health. It will consist of 25-30 different individual pieces of fabric dyed in natural indigo via the Shibori dyeing method. The pieces work together to create one whole exhibit in a "cloud" of mental health expression.
